U.K. based company Uswitch has released a report that shows the dark web popularity according to countries. Uswitch is an online and telephone comparison and switching service that helps people compare prices on products and services.
Tracking dark web popularity according to country is difficult because of the anonymity of the dark web, tracking user search is the best option, but searches made by users of the dark web, are anonymous and these searches can not tracked easily.
Using Google search volume data, they were able to provide an estimate this is not accurate because a large portion of dark web searches are done on the tor browser using the Duck Duck go search engine.
Google search data should still give an idea of dark web popularity.
