Dark0de Screen

Dark0de Reborn is a market offering universal services. It has unique features and it is worth a try. Dark0de Reborn was created from the Dark0de Forum based marketplace.

Dark0de was created in 2007 and stopped operating in 2015. It was relaunched in may 2020 as as a regular drug marketplace.

The admin of this market has said that the name was chosen because it comes from history and they are proud to be associated with the old Dark0de market, it was chosen as a way to attract old members of the previous forum.

Dark0de admins claim that the market has no vulnerabilities saying in an interview “ We can see this from the recent hacks in many markets; from this, we can assume that people can’t tolerate even common vulnerabilities, which are already known to be 20 years old.” The admins claim to have a higher level knowledge in programming compared to other market admins.

F.A.Q – General

Please make sure you have read Dark0de’s Conditions of Use here

1. What kind of Support can I expect on Dark0de?

We know that waiting for answers, especially if you need them fast in order to make decisions on our market, can be a stressful experience. This is why we have an extensive support team located in different locations around the world. This means that we can always help you in a fast and safe manner that fits with your timezone. No need to wait 24+ hours to get help, that wait is over.

2. Does Dark0de support more languages?

The base language of Dark0de is English. In the course of 2020 we will implement more languages market-wide. Our support staff can help you in all major global languages next to English. Feel free to send us a message in your language and we will do our best to help you get the answers you need.

3. What fees should I expect on Dark0de?

We don’t believe in high fees for both sellers and buyers, we want to encourage entrepreneurship while also helping buyers get a good value for their money. This is why we have a 3.5% fee for both sellers (vendors) and buyers. We have a 1.5% withdrawal fee but we do not uphold any kind of withdrawal/deposit limit. As long as it is higher than the network fee you are free to withdraw or deposit any amount, big or small.

The Dark0de Mixer (Mixk0de) uses a 3% fee and the Coin Shifter (Shiftk0de) uses a 5% fee. The fee for Shiftk0de is higher because of the underlying processes it uses.

4. What about phishing?

We log everything that happens on Dark0de to the detail. Together with our support staff you (and us) will be able to see if someone tried to gain unauthorized access to your account. In addition we can see which data was wrongly entered to see what you might need to change in order to improve your account security.

All logs are only kept for a limited amount of time for safety reasons.

5. What happens to my data on Dark0de?

We understand the security risks all too well and it’s better to prevent than only to react. For this reason we have chosen very carefully which data we keep and which we do not. Content such as usernames, Listings, Order history (but only the bare minimum, nothing identifiable), Minimal feedback information, public keys etc. these data(s) are kept in plaintext.

Certain data such as logs for signing in, system messages or deposit information is only kept for a very limited amount of time.

All other information such as messages between users and support (end-to-end encrypted), all support information and tickets, order and shipping details and all account information associated with account access and finances are all fully encrypted.

Once user accounts are closed or completely idle for extended amounts of time, the account information is completely removed from our servers.

We DO NOT keep the following information on our servers:

– PGP Private keys;
– Private keys related to Bitcoin, Monero or any other payments methods.

We make sure to take regular backups of all (and not more) needed data to bring the risk of data loss to a minimum.

All messages will be automatically removed after 40 days, this applies to both sent and received messages. If you need to save information for a longer period than 40 days, you need to save them locally.

F.A.Q. – Support Rules

1. Opening a Support Ticket

You may only open a support ticket when the answer to your question is not located in our F.A.Q. If you open a ticket with a question of which the answer(s) are clearly in our F.A.Q. you will only receive a redirect to our F.A.Q. and the ticket will be closed.

2. Opening a Dispute

If you have an order that was never shipped never received and/or the seller is not responding to your messages you can open a dispute for your order. Please read our rules carefully before opening a dispute, if you lose the dispute you will lose the escrow funds of that order and dispute decisions are indisputable.

3. Communication

We expect you to talk to our support staff with respect and you can expect the same from our staff. Breaking this rule will result in a temporary suspension of your account as a first warning. A second warning will not be given, your account will be blocked indefinitely if it happens again.

4. Information

When opening any kind of ticket to support, please make sure you supply all information needed to help you. This will benefit both you and the support staff to get a faster resolution of your issue.

5. Accountability

We are NOT responsible for:

– A buyer giving the seller wrong shipping information;

– A buyer or a seller not changing their feedback within the given amount of time there is to change feedback;

– A non-fulfilment on any FE order;

– Not using the correct deposit or withdraw address;

– Losing the PGP key for your account;

– Not being able to ship your orders on time;

– The loss of any information that was deleted by your own actions.

We ask our users to take a certain degree of responsibility for their own account usage and security. This is the safest way to work together. For all other issues our support staff its available to you 24/7

F.A.Q. – For the Buyers

Please make sure you have read Dark0de’s Conditions of Use here

1. What do I need to take into consideration when buying a product/service?

When you find a product or service that fits your needs make sure you fully understand what you are buying. Check if the title is not misleading, and read the product description very carefully. It is also important to make sure that the shipping or fulfilment options are agreeable for you. All prices on Dark0de are in default listed as fiat currencies, your eventual payment will be done with the selected cryptocurrency corresponding with the fiat amount. You may also want to verify the activity of the vendor and if he/she is or has been active recently.

When placing the actual order make sure you select the right quantity so you also pay the amount you intended to pay for that product. Do not forget to add your shipping information together with the order to make sure you receive it at the right location.

If you enter the wrong shipping information and this results in a failure of delivery it is your own responsibility not the vendor’s.

4. What is the difference between an Escrow order and an FE (Finalize Early) order?

With an Escrow order your funds will be kept in escrow and only released to the vendor when you release them after receiving the package or after 14 days of placing the order if no dispute has been opened for the order. Only Escrow orders can be disputed. Placing an FE order is your own responsibility because the vendor receives the funds when the order status has been changed to ‘Shipped’. As such, we do not offer full Support for FE orders so only place an FE order when you are sure you can trust the seller with whom you are placing the FE order with.

2. What do I do after placing my order?

When your order is placed you can find the active order in your order overview with the current status. When the seller accepts your order it is the seller’s responsibility to take care of shipping and delivering your order as soon as possible. If the seller gives out tracking information for your order you are in your right to request this information when the status of your order has been changed to sent (or if the seller has stated otherwise in their terms).

Please give the required time needed for the package to be delivered. If you have any issues with an ongoing order you first need to contact the seller to resolve the situation before contacting support.

3. What do I do if I never received my order and the seller is not responding?

If you have an Escrow order that was never shipped, never received and/or the seller is not responding to your messages you can open a dispute for that order. Please read our rules carefully before opening a dispute, if you lose the dispute you will lose the escrow funds of that order and dispute decisions are final.

4. What do I do if I received my order in good condition?

If you have received your order and everything is correct we ask you to release the Escrow funds (finalize the order) as soon as possible so that the seller can also collect his part of the transaction. If you are satisfied with your experience you can give the seller a corresponding review. We allow feedback changes up to 7 days after the original feedback was given, after this period you can not change the given feedback anymore.

We do not change users feedback except when it is used to blackmail or scam a seller.

F.A.Q. – For the Sellers

Please make sure you have read Dark0de’s Conditions of Use

If you are a seller, read Dark0de’s Selling Policies

1. How do I become a seller on Dark0de?

If you have a buyer account and want to start selling products on Dark0de, please make sure we list the products you want to sell. We have rules about what you can and what you can’t sell on the Dark0de market, be sure to check out the rules above.

Once you are clear about our rules and you want to proceed, you can upgrade your account to Seller (Vendor) – Level 1 here. There are three levels to upgrade (Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3) as a seller but you have to start at Level 1. Each level offers a wider variety of products and services that you can offer to our buyers.

The vendor bond to become a Level 1 vendor is $200 USD.

In some cases the vendor bond can be waived for established vendors, please contact Dark0de’s support to ask for the possibilities. Be ready to prove work done on other platforms. Do not contact support for the vendor bond waiver if you can’t offer us solid proof of work done.

2. Can I use my current Vendor Account (Name)?

If you have established yourself as a known vendor on any other platform you can rest assure that there is a place for you at Dark0de. We can add your overall feedback score from either Dream Market or Empire Market and will always be able to use the same username you built your reputation with. If you can prove to us that you indeed own the reputation for a certain name (on any other market), you will always receive that vendor account name. Regardless of someone else trying to use your name to better their business.

3. Are there items I am not allowed to offer on Dark0de?

Yes. It is strictly forbidden, under any circumstances to promote the sale of Child Pornography, Fentanyl or Fentanyl related products and any product or service related to terrorism. Violating this rule will result in actions against your account, such as cancellation of listings, suspension or forfeiture of payments, and removal of selling privileges or your removal of your account entirely.

If your account will be suspended for a fixed period of time because of a rule violation we will give you 1 working week to attend to open orders and messages. After this period your vendor account will be locked until the suspension period is over.

An account ban for a very serious violation results in losing everything connected to that account.

4. How do I add listings to my vendor shop on Dark0de?

If your account has been successfully upgraded to vendor status you will be able to add listings via the ‘Add Listing’ option from the top menu. Depending on what kind of listing you want to add you will need to fill in the required information and save it to your overall listings. Your listing will then be active in your own vendor shop (via your vendor profile) and in the designated category on the market.

Please make sure you always give a clear description of what your buyers are paying for. It’s also important you add clear buying, selling and shipping conditions to your vendor profile. This reduces the amount of support needed for new and completed orders as well as disputes you might receive as a result of unsatisfied customers.

5. Which forms of communication are allowed?

It is not allowed, under any circumstances, to include and or send wickr, jabber or any other direct means of communication methods to your buyers. Direct deals are not allowed and we require all communication to go via Dark0de so we can provide full support for sales and purchases. This also prevents scamming and other activities we can’t oversee or help you with at a later stage.

We have implemented extensive scan and anti-scam systems, these are checked regularly. If any buyer or seller is in violation of this rule their account(s) will be suspended for a set period of time as a first warning. In this case the user will not get any time to settle their affairs before the suspension takes effect.

6. What about vendor account inactivity?

If you do not log into your account for 5 days and there is a total lack of activity, your vendor account will be automatically set to vacation-mode. When logging back into your vendor account you can change your account status back to active, from your vendor account settings. If you do not log into your account for 56 days, the entire account will be purged from our servers and all information, messages and listings will be removed for safety reasons.

8. How long do I have to wait before I receive my Escrow funds

At Dark0de we do not believe in holding your money for longer than needed but we do ask you to take the time to fulfil the order correctly. This is why the time for Auto Finalize (AF) of all Escrow orders is 14 days. When these 14 days are over and there is no open dispute for an order you will receive the funds from that order in your Dark0de Wallet.

9. What is Finalize Early (FE) and how can I apply for it.

Finalize Early means an order’s funds are received by the vendor the moment the status of that order has been marked as ‘shipped’ by the vendor. This means that you, as a vendor, will receive the funds from that order in your Dark0de wallet and no escrow waiting time is applicable for these kinds of orders.

To apply for it you will need to have 250 successful sales, a rating of 4.90 or above and no open disputes at the moment of application. When you think you have met the requirements, please contact support and we will review your case. FE will be given within 72 hours of application. If your account has not been automatically upgraded to FE within 72 hours after your application to receive it. You will not receive it at that time, please do not ask support to review it again immediately.

If you have had a significant amount of sales with FE on either Dream Market or Empire Market and you can show us indisputable evidence of this, you may be eligible for early FE activation on your vendor account.

10. Can I contact support for reship/refund issues?

A vendor should always have reship and refund policies added to the description on their vendor profile in order to give customers a clear image of what to expect when the package is not received by them. You, as a vendor, are solely responsible for resolving any issues with regards to refunds and reships outside of disputes.

You can however, contact support if you think a buyer is trying to scam you via either, reviews, reships or refunds. If you do so, please provide as much evidence and information as possible for us to quickly help you resolve the issue.

11. If I review a buyer, can I change the feedback at a later time?

We allow feedback changes up to 7 days after the original feedback was given, after this period you can not change the given feedback anymore. We do not change users feedback except when it is used to blackmail or scam a seller.

12. How can I use funds that I earned from sales?

If you are a seller your received funds will be in either your Bitcoin (BTC) or Monero (XMR) wallet. You can withdraw these funds at any time. We have a 1.5% withdrawal fee but we do not uphold any kind of withdrawal limit. As long as it is higher than the network fee you are free to withdraw any amount, big or small. Payment

F.A.Q. – Payments

Please make sure you have read Dark0de’s Conditions of Use

1. Which payment methods are accepted on Dark0de?

We want to give our users more freedom and privacy than only Bitcoin (BTC). This is why you can also use Monero (XMR) as a payment method. Any users (buyer or seller) will have both an on-board Bitcoin and Monero wallet within your Dark0de account. You can load funds to these wallets to spend on products or service on the market. And sellers can receive either earned Bitcoin or Monero to their wallets.

In the near future we will load more cryptocurrencies as a viable means of payment. A list of crypto’s we are planning to implement is: Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP), Litecoin (LTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Dash (DASH), Zcash (ZEC), Verge (XVG), Bitcoin Private (BTCP), Cardano (ADA). Depending on the need from our community we will determine the time and order in which these coins will be added to Dark0de.

2. How can I start spending my funds to purchase products or services?

To get funds into your Dark0de account you will have to send either Bitcoin (BTC) to your Dark0de Bitcoin wallet or Monero (XMR) to your Dark0de Monero wallet. On each wallet page you will receive a unique wallet address to send funds to, depending on the network your transaction can take anywhere between a few minutes to several hours. Usually this takes between 15 to 30 minutes, but in some cases it can take longer.

3. What fees should I expect on Dark0de?

We don’t believe in high fees for both sellers and buyers, we want to encourage entrepreneurship while also helping buyers get a good value for their money. NoScript (not permanent) – The NoScript plugin allows you to manually disable Javasscript on the webpage you are visiting.

Tor Config (permanent) – With this option you can disable Javascript browser wide on Tor Browser by following these steps:

1. Type “about:config” in your Tor browser address bar
2. Search for “javascript.enabled” in the top ‘Search bar

2. About PGP

Please take some time to learn and understand PGP, read the F.A.Q. – PGP here. And bare in mind the following points;

– Protect your private keys and keep them save;
– Do not import a wrong key or a key that you do not know, to your PGP keyring.
We are currently looking into nw possibilities to replace PGP to a more saver method of keeping your information secure.

3. About your Operating System

It is always recommended to not use the same laptop or computer for your darknet activities and normal, every day life things. But if you have no choice, make sure to encrypt your hard disk and secure your laptop or pc environment with strong passwords. If you want to step up your game when it comes to digital security, Tails from a bootable USB stick is one of the best options to go for. If you are using any other device to access Dark0de, please make sure you run it in a clean profile/environment that is not used for anything else on that device.

4. Where to keep you coins

We recommend that you always store your coins in an environment where you own the private keys and preferably where transactions are forced through anonymous protocols. When using external services such as Binance or online wallets to keep your coins, you do not have 100% control over them and they can be lost or frozen at any time.

5. A note for buyers

Do not track your packages using your landline connection or subscribed phone connection. If you have no choice than at least use a good VPN with no-log policy. Do not check your tracking information every single day, multiple times per day. Stay low-key for the highest level of success.

6. A note for sellers

Do not write shipping labels by hand, this can be analysed and traced back. Change your printer, for printing shipping labels, preferably every 3 months if possible. Yes, printer models can also be traced back based on printed texts or shapes.

In general; Mind your OpSec, don’t use the same information for Dark0de accounts as you do for you Gmail account and don’t take unnecessary risks.

F.A.Q. – PGP

Please make sure you have read Dark0de’s Conditions of Use

1. What does PGP mean for Dark0de?

All sensitive information, things you can see and things you can’t see, are encrypted. For some elements of your account you will need to add and active a PGP key. If you are a vendor you are required to add a PGP key to your account otherwise we can not allow you to vend on Dark0de due to security reasons.

Make sure you make a back-up of your PGP and choose a strong password that you can either remember yourself or keep safe somewhere else. We are not responsible for your PGP, if you lose your PGP key we can’t recover your account. Only if your key expires the access to your account will be lost but as long as you have access to the old PGP key we will be able to recover your account.

2. Which PGP client are recommended?

We recommend using an up-to-date PGP client to create a new key for Dark0de. It is safer to not use the same key on multiple platforms. Please avoid using older PGP clients as they can result in losing access to your account that is secured with a PGP key. We also do not recommend using an online PGP service of sorts as your security will be dependent on third parties.

3. Can I change my PGP key?

We do allow changing your PGP key but you will need full access to your current PGP key and be able to access it with the PGP key password. If you lose any of these we will not be able to help you.
